T
he EB5 Investors Magazine hosted more than 350
migration agents, regional centers, immigration
and securities attorneys, developers, broker-dealers
and EB5 stakeholders at its Beijing EB-5 & Investment
Immigration Expo on May 17-18. More than 33 sponsors
backed the successful two-day event at the luxurious
Rosewood Beijing.
A networking VIP cocktail reception on May 17 kicked
off the event and was followed by a day filled of
moderated educational panels focusing on the hot
topics for immigration consultants, how migration
agents are adapting to the changing Eb-5 landscape,
project trends for regional centers, the legislative
future of EB-5 and the growing trend of international
investment programs.
Workshop attendees, including 195 migration agents
and 25 panelists, mingled during the scheduled
networking breaks, building connections in an intimate
environment, followed by more networking opportunities
during a private cocktail reception. Through interactive
workshops, networking breaks, an educational expo and
powerful introductions, participants could grow their
overseas partnerships even stronger.
Workshop moderators and speakers included prominent
leaders in the industry, including Daniel Healy from
Civitas Capital Group, Daniel Schwarz from Fragomen
Worldwide, Tom Rosenfeld from CanAm Enterprises,
Nicolai Hinrichsen from Miller Mayer, Dan Fulop from
Related, Ronald Fieldstone from Arnstein & Lear and Liu
Yu from Zhaolong Immigration. The next opportunity to
benefit from the networking during our events is in San
Francisco in July and in Mumbai, India, on Oct. 4-5.
