EB5: Do you have a separate underwriting department that looks at your deals?
RZ: We have lots of partners. We have very good attorneys in the United States. We have cooperated with Lincoln Stone for about 10 years. Lincoln is very professional. We want to cooperate with Bernie Wolfsdorf and other attorneys who are very professional. So EB-5 projects— government affairs sometimes change the policies every so often. Every year or two they introduce some new policy. So we need to check the new policies that list the requirements for EB-5. We are lucky because we cooperate with the most professional attorneys and avoid some risk in this way.
EB5: How do you handle relocation services? Does your company outsource or do you have an affiliated company who works with you?
RZ: We have an after-sales department and they provide lots of services to help the client settle down in the United States. We look for the most professional CPAs to help them with their tax payments, and we help with their children’ s education. We will help them to apply for the I-829 unconditional green card approval. We also help the clients get their investments back. In very special situations, we also employ attorneys to help them get their money back.
EB5: That’ s excellent. What are your plans for expansion of your company?
RZ: We hope our company can become a very good global company and the most successful EB-5 company in China. Our clients expect our company to help them get their unconditional green card and investment back. We try to do our best. That’ s why we set up our aftersales department. We are continuing to seek the most reputable companies in the United States to cooperate with. We also hope the U. S. government will pass more policies and legislation to protect the investments of our clients.
