Ingredients:
1 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1/2 cup corn syrup
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
6 cups of popped popcorn
1. In a medium saucepan,
over medium heat, melt
butter. Stir in brown sugar,
corn syrup and salt.
2. Bring to a boil, stirring
constantly. Boil without
stirring for four minutes.
Remove from heat and stir
in baking soda and vanilla.
3. Pour the mixture over popped popcorn. Stir well to as much popcorn as
you can.
4. Spread the popcorn on a baking
sheet and put it in the oven for about 15
minutes. Remove the popcorn from the
oven and stir the popcorn and carmel
mixture again. Run the popcorn in the
oven for another 15 minutes for an extra crunchy bite.
