Canola and bees have a sweet relationship. Wherever you find honey bees you’ll find canola, they’re perfect companions. Plentiful canola blooms allow bees to feed efficiently, without covering large distances. Canola fields bloom for long periods, so one field can provide bees with a good source of nectar for up to a month. Canola is the main flowering crop for honey production in Canada. Bees do very well on canola blooms, it is a very nutritious pollen that is high in protein, fat and amino acids. So, we already know canola oil is nutritious with a versatile, neutral flavour and bonus, the honey produced from its blooms is light in colour with a mild sweet flavour - all good! 30 WWW.EATINEATOUT.CA
