It would be so fun to attend classes
with someone you care about, then
spend the breaks together at the library
doing homework (or chatting) before
going for lunch or dinner together.
There are parties too and you already
have a date for prom night, which takes
away a big chunk of the burden of
preparing for THE night.
Of course, the fun is not limited to the
weekdays. There will be someone you
can give a wakeup call to each morning,
go window shopping or catch a movie
with on the weekend, and someone
who will be concerned about you when
you’re out and about, and care for you
when you are ill.
Having a student partner also helps if
you are both motivated towards getting
good grades. You can spend time
revise together and encourage each
other during exams. If your partner
is attending the same classes as you,
you can help each other with notes,
assignments and revisions.
Many marriages also take place
between couples who have dated
since their college days. It is said
that the college days are the most
‘challenging’ as it is a time when
youths discover themselves, meet many
new friends and lose several as well,
and undergo various obstacles with
