How do I find accommodation in
New Zealand?
There are many options for students in terms of
accommodation, so there is nothing to worry about not
having a place to stay when you arrive in New Zealand.
First year students can opt to stay in the hall of residence
or hostels as these are usually located very close at walking
distance to your campus. These halls of residence come with
a shared dining hall, lounge and laundry facilities. Even
meals are provided for, so a new student does not need to
venture far searching for classrooms, food or facilities.
When you are more familiar with your surroundings, you can
live with a New Zealand family in their home on a homest
