i-DANCE, the Palace Theatre’s resident
integrated company, make a welcome return
to the stage with not one, but three world
premieres!
A remarkable company of dancers who,
working alongside choreographers and
artists, have developed an accomplished and
thrilling body of new work. The dancers’
ability to embrace dance in meaningful ways
is reflected in their successful performances
on various platforms and stages across the
region, surprising and enthralling audiences.
The programme will explore a gentler more
compassionate view of how the world
could be, in stark contrast to aggressive
and divisive forms of rule. The company
welcome renowned choreographer,
Angus Balbernie from France to create
a specially commissioned new piece for
i-DANCE, in collaboration with costume
artist Myra Ostacchini. A duet from the
unique Touchdown Dance, directed by
Angus, which features extraordinary dancer,
Stuart Jackson who is autistic and blind will
complete the programme.

Nathan Carter is one of the biggest names
on the Irish music scene and fast becoming
a big name all over the UK with his fine
performances. Nathan and his six man band
perform a great variety of country, Irish, pop
and ballads - music to appeal to all ages.
Nathan is an expert accordion player so you
can also expect a bit of a hand clapping,
foot tapping hooley! A superbly entertaining
show that will make you want to see him
again.

Consider yourself at home in Kilmarnock’s
Palace Theatre as East Ayrshire Youth
Theatre presents the musical Oliver! Set in
London’s murky underworld, Lionel Bart’s
much-loved musical tells the story of the
runaway orphan Oliver and the colorful
characters he encounters following his
escape from the workhouse. The bullying
Mr Bumble, devious gang leader Fagin,
menacing Bill Sikes, his kindly girlfriend
Nancy and the Artful Dodger are brought
vividly to life in the atmospheric setting
of the old mill. The whole EAYT Company
and Bart’s witty and memorable songs,
including You’ve Got to Pick A Pocket Or
Two, Consider Yourself and I’d Do Anything,
Oliver! will tug at your heart strings, make
you smile and most definitely make you
