Giving children the attitudes and disciplines to face the challe
Inspired by the Knowledge is Power Programme (KIPP) education project in the USA, we work
in 16 schools in some of Nairobi’s most deprived areas, developing 7 key character traits that we
believe will have a positive impact on the children’s lives and futures. Led by former schoolmaster,
David Waters MBE (awarded for his work with underprivileged children in Kenya), we operate
within each school’s timetable and reach more than 4,000 children a week.
