Frank Norris
American narrator. With his contemporary Stephen Crana, he is considered the initiator
of naturalism in American narrative literature. Anglo-Saxon, Frank Norris was the son of
a wealthy wholesale jewelery merchant. Since childhood, his mother had inspired him
with enthusiasm for Walter Scott, Charles Dickens and R. L. Stevenson, and this
admiration was decisive in his career.
Truman Capote
Truman Streckfus Persons, better known as Truman Capote, was born on September 30,
1927 in New Orleans United States. He was a journalist and writer who achieved notable
fame among American society in the 1960s, author of the famous novels "In Cold Blood"
and "Breakfast at Tiffany´s".
