Entry 1 • Use new vocabulary and simple grammar that will help you to ask and answer questions. • Ask and give travel information. • Make an appointment with the doctor and ask for medicines at the chemist. • Ask and give simple directions. • Talk and write about your family, friends and yourself. • Understand signs, symbols and instructions. • Read and write some letters, notes, emails and simple forms. Entry 2 • Initiate and respond to simple conversations and discussions on common topics and predictable situations. • Get across information with increasing grammatical accuracy. • Express feelings, wishes and interests with increasing confidence. • Read and write formal and informal letters. • Improve your job prospects by writing CV, personal statement, fill in forms for job applications, ask for and give information about jobs.
