Fees information and advanced learner loans

Fees
The Education Skills Funding Agency ( EFSA ) contributes towards the cost of delivering these courses , even when a full fee is payable .
Non-accredited courses
There are two fees applicable for most courses , for residents of the UK or other EU countries :
• Standard fee
• Concessionary fee please check table for eligibility
You are entitled to the concessionary fee if : What proof do I need to provide ?
You have been a UK or EU resident for the past 3 years and any of the following apply :
• You are claiming any of the following :
• Job Seeker ’ s Allowance ( JSA )
• Employment and Support Allowance ( ESA WRAG )
• Universal Credit ( UC )
• Housing Support
• Council Tax Benefit
• Working Tax Credit
• Income Support
• Guaranteed Pension Credit
• You are 65 years or over
Accredited or qualification course
For all courses :
• National insurance number .
• If your entitlement is linked to receiving benefits , we need :
• A current benefit letter which must be no more than three months old on the date of enrolment .
• For Universal Credit ( The JSA booklet is not acceptable proof ) we will accept a print-out from your online account .
You may be entitled to a free course if : What proof do I need to provide ?
You have been a UK or EU resident for the past 3 years and any of the following apply :
• Studying Functional Skills or GCSE English or maths
• You are in receipt of Active Benefits : ESA WRAG , JSA or UC
• If you are unemployed and receiving any other state benefit , not listed above , but believe the course will help you enter employment
• Aged 19 to 23 and are studying for your first full level 2 ( equivalent to 5 GCSE ’ s ) or level 3 qualification ( equivalent to A levels ).
• National insurance number
• Valid passport
• Copies of relevant exam certificates
• If your entitlement is linked to receiving benefits , we need :
• A current benefit letter which must be no more than three months old on the date of enrolment .
