This course is suitable for beginners and experienced artists. Beginners will learn fundamental
aspects of drawing and painting using a variety of materials. Students will develop their observational
skills and with a little persistence they will see real improvement in their abilities. Those with
experience will get expert advice on alternative techniques in order to expand their range and
gain fresh perspectives on how to develop their work further.

How to Draw
This course is suitable for both beginners and improvers. Beginners will carry out drawing
exercises designed to help them see and draw the subject more clearly whilst exploring the
use of a variety of materials and approaches to mark making. Improvers and more experienced
learners will explore a variety of alternative approaches to drawing, gaining increased confidence
in expressive mark making, selection and mixing of materials.
