PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND COURSES ENGLISH ENGLISH AS A EMPLOYABILITY FAMILY AND MATHS – SECOND LANGUAGE AND COMPUTING LEARNING FUNCTIONAL SKILLS (ESOL) ARTS, CRAFTS AND TEXTILES Ealing Adult Learning and Ealing Libraries - working together Ealing Libraries welcome all learners, and provide a range of resources to support your learning, whether you are working towards a qualification, building up basic skills, or inspired to learn something new or simply get creative. New Homework club at Woodend Library Ealing Adult Learning offers a free homework club for parents and children of primary school age who would like support with English homework. Please note all parent/carers need to attend with their child. Thursday afternoons from 15:45-17:00 for 11 weeks • Term 1 start date: 21/9/17 • Term 2 start date: 11/1/18 • Term 3 start date: 19/4/18 Library visits Learners on our ESOL, Functional Skills and other qualification courses visit a local Ealing Library together and have the opportunity to sign up for a membership, and access the many online resources available. Reading Ahead Learners on English courses also participate in a reading challenge Reading Ahead a programme run by The Reading Agency which challenges adults of all ages to read six books. Membership includes access to all of Ealing’s libraries, and more than 100 branches across the London Libraries Consortium.
