Rain, Rain – go away! Our team is really looking forward to getting through September and moving into some
drier weather months. All-in-all, our course is holding up well through the above average precipitation levels
for the Greater Tampa Bay area. We have seen multiple facilities throughout the Bay Area that have been closed
for multiple days due to the weather. We have been doing our very best to keep the carts off of the paths, and the
driving range open for business. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that we have a dry September!!!
Thank you for everyone that
played a role in supporting the
World’s Largest Golf Outing! Over
100 Golf Courses participated
in this year’s event. Our facility
alone, raised $7,180 for the Fisher
House Foundation! I would like to
personally thank the Eaglebrooke
team for putting together a great
event, Brenda Titus for donating her
time running the Putting Contest,
along with all of the participants
and donors that helped make this
event a great success.
I’m proud to announce that the Florida State Golf Association chosen Eaglebrooke to host the Senior Two-Man
Shootout on Friday, November 1st and Saturday, November 2nd. These events bring great golfers and awesome
exposure to our facility from all around the state. The golf course will be closed all day on Friday, and in the
morning on Saturday. John & I are currently in the process of working with some fellow courses to help our
members with some reciprocal times. If you are interested in playing in this event, please visit www.fsga.org.
Please note, the Golf Outing season is right around the corner. October is typically one of the busier months for
golf outings along with months in the Spring. We have added a section of the
bottom of the calendars with some dates / times each month where play may
possibly be impacted due to a large group. Please reach out to the Golf Shop
if you have questions regarding some of these dates or would like for us to
book a time elsewhere for you & your group.
