LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
The team and I are very excited to get September behind us and move into a drier weather pattern . As you all are aware , Eaglebrooke was hampered by wet weather all month . The golf course was wet to the point that we were unable to get our Fairway Mowers on majority of the fairways for roughly a 2-week period . Please continue to help us get through this difficult time by staying out of any wet areas with your golf carts .
In the coming weeks , we have the natural area on hole # 2 scheduled to be trimmed down . In addition , we will be working to remove some dead pines throughout the golf course grounds .
Despite the wetness of the facility , we are very pleased with the condition of the course as we head into our cooler months . All-in-all , the weed pressure is light , the greens are in great shape , and the overall health of the turf is good !
