October closed with the second to last MGA tournament of the year , the “ Monster Bash ” a member favorite where the course superintendent takes revenge with difficult pin positions . The results were not available at the time of publication , but we ’ re sure between the scares of Halloween and the pin positions of the tournament , members are happy to move on to November !
Although there are no events on the MGA calendar for November , Saturday , November 7th is a date to mark on your calendar to support the Marine Corps Toys for Tots Scramble Tournament . Eaglebrooke members have been great supporters of the Toys for Tots campaign , so we hope that you ’ ll once again participate to make this an outstanding fundraising event !
November weather is a great time of the year to golf in Florida , but with daylight getting shorter and sunsets much earlier with the end of daylight savings time , time for evening golf is at a premium . So , get out and enjoy the course and great weather when you can !
