LETTER FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT
I ’ m very pleased with the condition of the golf course . All-in-all , the turf conditions are superb with very little weed pressure . During the month of October , we were able to complete two fertilizer applications to help keep the turf lush throughout the cooler weather months .
Looking ahead , we will begin our Pre- Emergent Applications for the Poa Annua control throughout the cooler weather months . The greens will be treated with Revolver , the fairways and tees will be treated with Certainty and the Rough will be treated with Barricade .
Beginning in November we will also begin our Pigment applications to the tees and fairways . The Pigment will be applied about six times throughout the Winter Months . These applications provide color / definition throughout the facility when the Bermuda Grass goes dormant .
In the coming weeks we will also be adding some plant material to the tee boxes throughout the golf course .
Have a great month of November !
