Since the March newsletter, a lot has transpired worldwide
relating to the COVID-19 virus. This pandemic will have a
significant impact our people and our business. Please note,
first and foremost, that the safety of our members, guests,
& team members is our #1 priority. We will continue to
adjust to the operation to help keep everyone safe. Please
be patient with us during this tough time.
The hospitality industry nationwide has been impacted
enormously over the past month. Golf rounds are down,
banquets, weddings, & golf outings have cancelled, & the
Food & Beverage business has been non-existent. As you
could imagine, these results of the COVID 19 pandemic
have a direct impact on our team members. Once this all
comes to an end, we will be planning to do a fundraiser to
help our team members that have been impacted during
this tough time.
This past month, I had the opportunity to attend the Billy
Casper Golf Annual Meeting and awards banquet. It
was a great meeting with many leaders of the industry in
attendance. I was able to be a part of some great meetings
and conversations regarding our industry with many
great people over the course of three days. I’m happy to
announce that The Club at Eaglebrooke was awarded the
“Facility of the Year” award. This award is given to the
facility with best all-around service, operations, agronomic conditions, and financial performance. Every one of our team
members, in every role, deserves the credit. I’m proud of the team that we have in place. Please congratulate our team
members as you interact!
