Help me congratulate Tori Herndon for being selected for the Employee of the Quarter ! Tori has been in key team member of the F & B operations team since October of 2023 . She is always willing to lend a hand ( in any department ) and always displays a positive attitude . Not to mention , she does a wonderful job ! 😊 Keep up the great work , Tori ; and THANK YOU for making Eaglebrooke a great place !
In early August , we dodged a big bullet with Hurricane Debby . Although it dumped a surplus of rain ( nearly 8 ”) on us , we escaped with a minimal impact to the business . We are in the peak season of hurricanes right now and will continue to monitor the tropics closely .
The changes that we have recently made in with Food & Beverage have been overwhelmingly positive . The new menu has received a lot of great feedback . Our first Fish Fry was a success ( nearly 80 fish plates sold ), along with our Prime Rib Night ( 40 Prime Rib Plates sold ). We are expecting a nearly 25 % increase in A La Carte Food Sales in August compared to July . Be sure to pop up to the trophy room to test out a new menu item !
