EAGLEBROOKE WOMEN ’ S GOLF ASSOCIATION
We are officially canceling our subscription to the " Hurricane of the Month Club "! A huge thank you to EWGA members Mary Anne Morrone , Fran Hall , Juanita Nielson , and Lithea Beck for their assistance in cleaning up the course . Over two days , about 40 volunteers generously gave their time , helping free up several man-hours so the maintenance crew could focus on clearing downed trees , cleaning drains , and tackling the hard work necessary to get the course ready for play . Special thanks to Ryan Roberts , Ricky Weber , Wes Parker , and his team for their dedication , and to Chef Sam Lodovico and his team for providing lunch to the workers .
Looking ahead , we ’ re excited for the EWGA Board Challenge on October 23rd and 30th . Awards for Gross and Net scores will be given for each tee category — red , green , and yellow . Winners ’ names will be engraved on the plaque displayed in the club entryway . Mark your calendars for November 13th for our Solheim Cup Challenge , a fun and well-attended event chaired by Kirsten Haake .
The EWGA season runs from September 4 , 2024 , to March 26 , 2025 , with play every Wednesday at 9:00 AM . Be sure to sign up in the Pro Shop by noon on Tuesday before play .
