LETTER FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
Happy May Eaglebrooke ,
April was a very busy month for the facility . We hosted the Masters Tournament for the membership , fed almost 500 people over Easter weekend , and crowned the Club ’ s best performers over Championship Weekend . Congratulations to our winners ! We hope you enjoy your new parking spot for the year !
Looking ahead into May , we have a lot of activity at the Club . The highlight of the month will be our Men ’ s Member Guest Invitational which will be hosted on Friday – Sunday ( May 3rd – 5th ). Can you believe that we were able to sell this event out ( 60 teams ) within two hours of accepting the Entry Forms ??? It wasn ’ t long ago that we had only 36 teams competing . This is a testament to how much our membership has grown . Following the Member Guest Tournament , we will move into Italian Night ( May 8th ), Mother ’ s Day Brunch ( May 12th ), the PGA Pro-Am ( May 18th & 19th ), and our Memorial Day BBQ & Flag Tournament ( May 27th ).
We have a surplus of large projects taking place around the facility . We have recently installed a Gazebo for the Starter and will be adding another one at the Bag Drop area in the coming weeks . This will make for a much better first impression for our golfers and will provide a much more professional look . We have added new Trash Cans , Sand Bins , Two Sand Bottle Holders , Podiums , & Bunker Rakes , throughout the facility . This Summer we will receive a new Club Car Golf Cart Fleet , Picker Cart , and Beverage Cart . Behind the scenes - we have recently installed a new Steamer in the kitchen and received a new equipment package which includes a much more efficient Rough Mower , a New Spray Rig , and a new Tractor . eaglebrooke newsletter 3
