MGA 2024 SCHEDULE
* MGA events are restricted to club members that have paid their MGA dues . * All tournaments have a $ 20.00 fee , Gross / Net flight winners . ( Cannot win both ) * No fee for the December Blowout Tournament
January 20th – Memorial Tournament 4-Man scramble , teams assigned by handicap index to divide the team evenly . Each player ’ s tee shot must be used on 1 par 5 , 2 par 4 ’ s and 1 par 3 .
March 16th – 1 Day Member – Member Tournament Choose your MGA partner , flighted by team and handicap index . Holes 1-6 Shamble , 7-12 Reverse Shamble , 13 -18 Best Ball .
April 20th – 4 Man Team ( ABCD ) 2 Best Balls , 2 Holes on Each Green Tournament 4-Man teams assigned by handicap index to evenly divide the field . Shamble format , combined best net score to both flags on each green .
June 22nd – Two Man Scramble Tournament Teams assigned by handicap index . AB flight and CD flight .
July 13th – 432 Best Ball Tournament ABCD teams assigned by handicap index . Count all four balls on the 6 highest handicap holes , 3,6,8,12,14,16 . Count three best balls on 1,5,7,10,11,13 . Count two best balls on lowest handicap holes , 2 , 4,9,15,17,18 . Triple bogey max . Low Gross , Low Net
September 14th – Same Tee Box Flight Tournament Tournament against players from the same tee box ( there may be a few cross overs depending on the number of participants per tee to get an even number of players )
October 26th – Monster Bash Tournament 4-Man teams assigned by handicap index to evenly divide the field . Scramble format , play to the most difficult pin position on the course superintendent can muster . Double Bogey is the maximum score .
December 7th – Blowout Tournament TBD – Last MGA event of the year . All money left is used for prizes and there is no fee to play .
