MEN’S
Golf Association
Congratulations to all the club champions that were crowned
during June for the 2020 season!
July brings a return to the MGA tournament schedule, with one of
the most popular events, the “Trifecta” scheduled to be played on
Saturday July 25th. Teams of two assigned by the pro shop will play
3 different formats (alternating shot, scramble and best ball) for 6
holes each, testing the mettle of all the teams. Note that with group
gatherings still maxed at 50, the tournament will be capped at the
first 48 players to sign up, so make sure you do so early so that you
don’t miss out on this great tournament!
Summer also brings an increase in the number of thunderstorms
we experience here in central Florida, the lightning capital of
the US, so be careful to keep in mind, “when thunder roars,
get indoors”! Also, let’s be respectful of the course after heavy
downpours and make sure not to do further damage by driving in
wet areas.
