LETTER FROM THE MEN ’ S GOLF ASSOCIATION
I would like to take a moment to thank the membership for allowing me to serve as president of the MGA over the last 2 years and participate on the board the last five and a half years , and to work under the administrations of Dave Conway and Paul Meyer . Special thanks to all the board members over the last 2 years : Steve Beck , Eric Cousins , Rod Davis , Rick Leonard , JP Machek , Tim Milcich , Kyle Thomas , and Kevin Wasilewski .
Congratulations to our end of the year “ blowout ” winners from the December 9th MGA Event , which fielded 72 competitors .
A-B flight :( 102 ) Bob Dyckson and Roger Self .
C-D flight : ( 96 ) with a whopping six stroke victory the always formidable pairing of Bobby Hartley and Bobby Kormos .
These 8 members played in all 9 MGA events this past year : Reggie Alford , Art Bartholomew , Al Hanif , Smitty Patterson , Keegan Schaal , Steve Sharp , Tom Seagraves , and Kyle Thomas . Over a two year period Reggie , Al , and Tom have played in 18 consecutive MGA Events .
Save the date , for the first MGA event of the year : January 20 “ The Memorial ”. All other dates will be released later .
We want to announce the new incoming board and wish Rod Davis well as he embarks on this new venture .
