Congratulations to Wayne Marsh for his hole in one on Friday , January 15 , 2021 . The event happened on hole # 3 from 115 yards using a pitching wedge . Witnesses were Hank Bolding , John Doran and Helge Duemmel . Great Shot Wayne !
SIGNING UP FOR MAJOR CLUB EVENTS The club has had a policy in place for signing up on the sheets we hang on the bulletin boards in the Pro Shop , and I ’ d like to clarify why this is . This is not to take away a service of phoning in your request to be put on the sign-up sheet , it ’ s more of an effort on our part to ensure that everyone wishing to sign-up can , without mistakes . The policy is simple , if you cannot make it into the pro shop to sign up for any of the events posted on the bulletin boards , email me on either of my two email addresses and I will be happy to sign you up . PRO SHOP AND DRIVING RANGE HOURS The Pro Shop will open at 6:30AM Monday thru Sunday and remain open until 6:00PM . The driving range is open on the days that the golf course is open starting at 6:30AM , and remain open weather permitting , until ½ hour before dark , except for Mondays when the range will close earlier to pick all the balls up so the driving range grass can be cut early the next morning . The pro shop , per the time of the year , will determine these hours of closing .

MGA - Match Play Tournament , 1st round – Format ( NEW ): Players will be flighted by “ Course Index ” ( Your handicap from your default tees ) to minimize the number of stokes between players in each flight . Note : you may not play against someone from the same tee box . Minimum 2 matches . $ 20 tournament fee March 20th-21st CLUB - Men ’ s 2021 Senior Club Championship ( Not Super Seniors ) March 27th MGA - Member-Member , Format : Choose your MGA partner , flighted by team “ course index ”, holes 1-9 scramble , 10-18 best ball . $ 10 tournament fee April 16th-18th CLUB - 2021 Men ’ s Member-Guest May 1st-2nd

MGA – Trifecta Tournament – Format : 2-man assigned teams , flighted , holes 1-6 scramble , 7-12 alternate shot , 13-18 best ball , $ 10 tournament fee
July 4th
CLUB – 2-Person Scramble September 18th MGA – Same Tee Box Flight Tournament – Format : Net tournament against players from the same tee box ( we may have a few cross overs based on numbers signed up per tee box ) $ 10 tournament fee
October 9th CLUB - Fall Two Person Scramble
October 30th
MGA – “ Monster Bash ” Tournament – Format : 4-man teams assigned to evenly divide the field , scramble format to the most difficult pin positions the course superintendent can muster . $ 10 tournament fee
November 6th
CLUB - 2021 Marine Corp Toys for Tots Scramble November 13th-14th CLUB - Men ’ s 2021 Club Member-Member December 4th
MGA – Blowout Tournament – Format : 4-man scramble , teams assigned A , B , C , D players to evenly divide the field . Last MGA event of the year and all $$ left put into prizes . Tournament fee to be determined !
MGA or CLUB events are delineated . MGA events are restricted to club members that have paid their MGA dues .
