Anxiety by Jailene Silva
Confused and disoriented , I can ’ t breathe Sweat dripping from my body , Head spinning in circles Pains so sharp they become unbearable Irrational fears surfacing in my mind Living in constant fear of another episode I know it ’ s coming , just don ’ t know when Drinking water helps , but not for long Like a fire inside , I ’ m disintegrating My body , the ticking time bomb , Ready to go off any second My heart , calming down Then intensifying , like tidal waves By the time the panic has stopped , I ’ ve run out of energy
