The Enfield High golf team ’ s Captain , Jack Steere has been leading the team by shooting consistently with scores in the low 40s . Cooper Love saying strong dropping in the 30s twice with a career season low of 37 . Brendan Boswell scoring in the low 40s and is having a strong season . CJ Nuccio has also been contributing with scores in the mid 40s .
“ The boys have been going up and down this season and we have two seniors and two underclassmen that hold the team together it looks like we ' re going to make a push for the state tournament ,” said the senior , Steere .
The team has won two matches this year ; on against Manchester and the other against South Windsor but both of those games the team had career lows with a 170 overall score as a team with Love shooting a 37 , which was a career best for him .
The team is going to two tournaments this year they are going to the CCC Tournament and the Connecticut Two Man Tournament . The Connecticut Two Man is a scramble . The teammates battle other teams of two and they use the further drive to continue each hole .
