10-1 and lost in the semi-finals to Ledyard 14-7 . It was the only time that a football team in Enfield has played in the post-season .
Gaucher coached three seasons of softball and the team went 41-21 with an appearance in the quarterfinals . In baseball , his teams have won six conference titles ( 2 NCCC and 4 CCC ) with two quarterfinal and one semifinal appearance . He is 199-150 in baseball . In girls ’ basketball , he has had his most success with five conference titles and four semifinals ’ appearances and an overall record of 183-101 .
In the 25 years , Gaucher has been lucky enough to coach numerous all state , all conference and division one athletes . His baseball team will continue to try to build upon their record as they begin their journey in the state tournament next Tuesday at Powder Hollow Park .
