Question and Answer 1 ) Kris we know publicly you are most well-known for your book and movie " 13 Hours : The Secret Solders in Benghazi "... Can you tell us about how your experiences while you were there influenced you home and family life when you returned ?
Question and Answer 2 ) So the big question everyone keeps asking is ... " Did you really wear short shorts to go into battle in Benghazi ?" And if so , why ?
Question and Answer 3 ) At what point did you realize your training and experiences influenced other areas of your life ? What happened to bring this realization ? Which areas of your life were impacted ?
Question and Answer 4 ) So , another movie question that comes up often ... In the movie you are roaming the streets all geared up , with plenty of other people in the streets with AKs , all running around . What were you thinking at the time ? Weren ' t you worried any of those people could have been a threat to you ? Your team seemed to be nonchalant about it .
Question and Answer 5 ) Most people who continue to educate themselves and train understand the mindset of avoiding any shooting incident in the first place . What are some of the approaches you take in this area of avoiding or minimizing engagement ?

What in your opinion can people do to help the industry thrive , with perhaps less of a 2nd Amendment position , and definitely more of a personal education and empowerment position ?

He is the co-author of the book " 13 Hours : The Inside Account of What Really Happened in Benghazi ," describing his experience responding to the 2012 terrorist attack on the US Special Mission in Benghazi , Libya . He now lives in Omaha , Nebraska .
