Hello Marc and Trish , I really want to thank you for all the wonderful videos you make and for the excellent advice you give .
My wife Lori and I bought a 23 ’ Airstream last year and we have had some great trips so far . We just returned home yesterday from a week-long trip to Northern Wisconsin with our friends who also have an Airstream .
On our way to our destination I had to make a sudden lane change to avoid hitting a car that came down an entrance ramp and was going past us on the right , this put me into a nearly uncontrollable sway situation . Fortunately I remembered your advice to use the lever on the brake controller to straighten out the trailer before it was totally out of control ( I think it was bouncing back and forth on two wheels ). Everything in the trailer was thrown all over but at least we were able to clean things up and continue on our trip .
Your advice saved our rig and possibly our lives ! Thank you so much . You mentioned on one of your videos that one bad day doesn ’ t have to spoil your whole trip and you are right . I do have a few small repairs to some drawer latches to make , but overall we survived .
I feel that I owe you so much thanks . If you ’ re ever near Grafton , Wisconsin please let us know . I do have a 30 amp service to the garage and a 50 ’ cord that reaches to the street , so you are always welcome at our house ! I would love to repay you for your wonderful advice .
