WHAT ’ S BEEN ONE OF YOUR FAVORITE TOOLS ?
TRISH : So , but on a lighter note , what ’ s been one of your favorite tools .
MARC : We have this red wagon . I love it and it unfolds and it ’ s super cheap . I think you ’ ve got it off Amazon or something like that . I think it was my birthday present a long time ago . We got it initially for the boat so that we could haul wake boards and stuff from the truck to the boat . We just knew it would be good for this trip . I mean , do we use it every day ? It folds up and we ’ ll of course include a link in the show notes of what this thing looks like , but we use it for taking things to the beach , taking the trash out , to take the laundry to and from the laundry at the RV parks . We also use it to haul Maddie ’ s butt around New York . So Maddie ’ s 16-year-old golden retriever and Maddie goes on strike and says , “ I ’ m not going to walk anymore .” I was like , yeah , no problem . Here ’ s the wagon . We put her in the wagon . So , I mean , I can ’ t imagine not having that thing . That thing is really cool .
TRISH : Well , I would love to tell you I have something magical and great in the kitchen , but I really don ’ t . I have my easy bake oven and I ’ m not doing masterful baking in there , but I do love cooking . Well , not baking , more cooking . I think that one of the best things that we ’ ve had is our bike rack . I just thought of that because I love that our bikes aren ’ t attached to our RV , they ’ re on our car . We drop the RV cause we have a travel trailer , we drop the trailer and then we can go into any city . We went into Madison , we went into Chicago , we went into all the cities prior to Maine because after Maine , the bike started dilapidating and we haven ’ t been anywhere long enough to get them fixed . We have biked all these awesome cities . There ’ s just no better way to get around .
We have covered so much , how this all got started , how we ’ ve sustained it , what we ’ ve gotten out of it . So for the person that ’ s reading this , and just connecting and they ’ re super excited and they ’ re picking up that we ’ re super excited , but they haven ’ t started yet . Do you have a mentor minute for that person ? That person that is really ready , but just needs that extra push ?
