How do I get there ?
Take U . S . 412 west of Enid out to Mooreland . Once you get there , turn north on Oklahoma 50 . Stay on that road until you reach Oklahoma 50A . Take a right , and entry is shortly ahead .

It has to be one of the coolest places in Oklahoma ... in more ways than one .
Alabaster Caverns State Park near Freedom offers both an escape from the heat as well as a plethora of cool attractions in its wildlife , activities and unique gypsum caverns — one of the largest gypsum caves in the world and the only one open to tours in the United States . The park attracts 22,000 visitors each year , offering something for everyone and making it a cool spot to mark one summer vacation stop or ultimate destination .
