Hotel Urquinaona
H10 Urquinaona Plaza Hotel was an urban terraced building typical of the Eixample area in Barcelona during the 19th century . During its renovation , carried out by GCA Arquitectos , in order to change its use , the aim was to preserve both the typological and heritage values of the original , while complying with current legislation and controlling costs . The original materials contrast with a purposefully-modern interior , to establish a truly rich dialogue . Technal participated in this dialogue with its model of highperformance SOLEAL windows with concealed sash that not only covers the envisioned aesthetic expectations , but also fully met the acoustic and thermal
requirements necessary for a hotel .
