EDF Renewable Energy is a leader in the wind energy industry. We have developed
over 5,080 MW for our own account and third parties, and are continually ranked
as a top ten developer and owner of wind energy in North America. Our U.S.
projects are located in more than 13 different states and include our 140 MW Pacific
Wind Energy project for San Diego Gas & Electric, our 206 MW Fenton Wind Energy
project for Xcel Energy, and the 161 MW Spinning Spur Wind Energy project for
Southwestern Public Service/Xcel Energy. EDF Renewable Services performs O&M
on 6,100+ wind turbines, comprising 30+ different turbine types.
Solar
EDF Renewable Energy and the EDF group have nearly 700 MWp globally in solar
projects operating or in construction. Our diverse and extensive experience enables
us to build distributed generation, rooftop, carport, and utility scale projects
ensuring the right system is designed to meet each customer’s specific resource
needs. Projects developed in North America include, but are not limited to, the
24 MWp Elmsley Solar crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) project in Ontario, Canada
and the solar carport project with the Long Island Power Authority comprised of
over 60,000 PV modules. The 143 MWp Catalina Solar project, located in Kern
County, is a ground mount system which comprises both copper indium gallium
selenide (CIGS) and cadmium telluride (CdTe) thin film technologies. Our solar
energy O&M portfolio includes nearly 2 million panels and 400 inverters.
