Intex boosts Made in India initiative

Intex to start with m a n u f a c t u r i n g in India has quickly scaled its domestic manufacturing operations of mobile devices since 2015 and is looking to expand the same, which is corroborated by the company’ s plans to open another bigger manufacturing unit in Greater Noida, spreading over eight hectares with a mobile handset manufacturing capacity of 35 million units per annum. Three out of five manufacturing facilities by Intex are located in Noida which commenced their operations in 2015, while the other two are located in Baddi( HP) and Jammu( J & K) with operations dating back to 2010 and 2004, respectively.

Narendra Bansal, CMD, Intex Technologies, said,“ The push given to domestic manufacturing through Make in India campaign will prove to be the growth engine for the Indian economy and will be the key to achieving the objective of unleashing India’ s manufacturing prowess. Francisco Partners and Elliott Management have completed the acquisition of Dell Software Group and the spinout of SonicWall as an independent company.

HPE allies with Intel over Centre of Excellence( CoE)

Enterprise( HPE), along with Intel has announced the launch of a Centre of Excellence( CoE) in Bengaluru. It will help demonstrate High Performance Computing( HPC)-as-a-Service for customers. The CoE will also enable research institutions and academia to test their applications on the latest HPC platform innovations from HPE, enabled by Intel technologies, and accelerate HPC adoption of enterprise offerings and greater flexibility to migrate on-premise environments including SUSE to open sourcebased public and private clouds.

Optiemus to distribute BlackBerry DTEK50 and DTEK60
