CREATOR - THIC

Hey, I'm Thic @ IMVU , but you guys can call me Ky.

I'm 22 and I am from Trinidad. I love the color green & my favorite thing to eat is Curry Goat with Rice. (Random ikr). I am currently in Nursing school and will be graduating very soon.

I've been creating on IMVU for about 5 years in total (on & off). At first, I was originally a clothing creator, by the name of Kyja @ IMVU but I retired that account about 2 years ago. I started creating on Thic in May of 2017. So for a year now, I've been an avatar creator. What made me start creating avatars is because, I seen a lot of pretty poses (avatar and/or couple) that I wanted to see in shop. I sent out requests and custom orders to a few other Avatar creators and I would get ignored or declined rudely for no reason. So my husband, iSK3NT @ IMVU, told me to just start creating my own avatars, and that's what I did.

I taught myself how to create avatars, and ever since then, I loved it. It took a lot of patience and it was very hard at first, but I was determined to get better and create flawless and beautiful avatars. Now, I am a tier 6 creator, and I look back at the people that was rude to me, and would ignore me whenever I would put in requests and customs, even some of the people that tried to get my shop disabled/removed, and I would think, "Wow, if it wasn't for these people, I wouldn't have had the motivation to keep pushing."

The process wasn't easy, but it was worth it. There were pros and there were cons to becoming a successful IMVU creator. I want EVERYONE to understand, that it is enough room for anyone to be successful on IMVU, or anywhere in life. If there was any advise I could give to a new upcoming creator, it would be this : Turn the hate, into motivation. If there is a creator, that has been creating longer than you, and you are trying to get a name for yourself but all they are doing is bullying you, or starting drama with you, just turn that hatred into more motivation. Because I've seen that happen so many times to new creators and it has even happened to me a few times. Same as if there was any other person. If a random person is telling you that your shop sucks, or anything in between, turn the hate into motivation. Because that's exactly what I've done. There were people that just didn't like me, because of how fast I was getting successful. And here I am, very successful, and very proud of myself.

I thank my Husband, for supporting me every single day and always telling me that "I can do it." He is amazing and I am very blessed to have him in my life. There were days that I wanted to quit. Not just avatars, but things in life in general. And he would always be in my corner, and tell me that I can do it, and will give me so much motivation. So I thank him for the amount of success that Thic has achieved, and how much success that I have achieved in my Real life. I also want to thank all of Thic supporters. Without you guys, I would not have made it so big here on IMVU.
