Diseases during the Industrial Revolution During the industrial revolution there was a lot of diseases because even thou the industrial revolution helped the world it also introduced new type of diseases. This where created because with the new industrial waste they did not have a safe disposal system so it created many pollution and viruses because of this waste. Some of those Diseases are: Cholera: This is a disease in which an individual drinks water that has been in contact with industrial or radioactive waste so that makes the water contaminated. Typhoid: This is a type of fever that also is transmitted because of the contamination of food or water and this started mainly in the industrial revolution because the lack of management of waste. Hygiene: This was another problem in the ages of the industrial revolution because as previously stated the lack of waste management created a dirty environment that led to many new illness and health problems. 6
