’ s Biography , from ROMANIA
I am Ana and I am from Romania . Due to political reasons I decided to leave Romania and came to Portugal . I have been living here since a year and seven months .
I have visited Portugal before and because I consider Portuguese people a very civilized one , I decided to immigrate to this country . At first the language barrier was a tough problem . I didn ’ t know any Portuguese word and the beginning was difficult . I am not married but I am in a relationship and I do not have any children . In Portugal the Association G . A . S . , in Porto , helped me to integrate . Maybe I have already been discriminated before , but in Portugal I never felt that .
I don ’ t see myself returning to my country right now . Perhaps only to visit it . I have a few good friends in Portugal ; however , I miss my family and friends . In my free time I go for walks , ride my bike and swim .

Felipe Juvenal ’ s Biography
My name is Haliky and I ’ m 18 years old . I am Brazilien and I am currently living and studying in Portugal .
I left Brazil with my brother and father and my mother stayed there . Before coming to Portugal we have lived in Germany for nine months . As we couldn ’ t get the official papers to stay there then we decided to come to Portugal .
I have been here for about one year and six months . I am a student from Agrupamento de Escolas Alexandre Herculano . The reason why we decided to immigrate had to do with the desire of having better living conditions . I knew that the city of Porto was a very beautiful place to live and also knew some of the Portuguese football clubs . When I came to Porto I thought it would be a good experience , hoping that I would be treated well by the Portuguese people . I had to face some difficulties , mainly with school related issues , like learning the subjects .
I have many friends in Portugal : at school and outside school . They are helping me to overcome the difficulties I have . I miss my mother a lot . Brazilian people are more friendly and closer to their family and friends . Here in Portugal I try to celebrate special occasions related to my culture in the funniest and closest way to what I did in my country . In my free time I like watching Netflix and hanging out with friends .
I would like to return to Brazil one day . But for now I would like to drop out from school ( finish school of course ) and become a professional football player .
Parminder Singh ’ s Biography
I come from India . My name is Parminder Singh . I have been living in Portugal for one year and a half . I am single and I have no children and I live here without my family .
I left my country in order to have better living conditions . The language and being here without my family were some of the difficulties I had to face .
NAFTC helped me to integrate . I have never felt discrimination . Portuguese people are very helpful . In my free time I watch films . I don ’ t figure out to return to my home country , only for visit .
