In my essay , I intend to show the life and displacement from Romanian-German refugees after the Second World War . As an instance of that problem I will take the biography and recordings from my grandmother . She was banished from Romania to Russia in the year 1944 and fled to Germany in the year 1946 .
In the second part of my seminar paper , I want to depict the similarities and differences between flight and expulsion after the Second World War and in the present time .
As a conclusion of my composition , I will show the negative and positive impacts for the individual person and Germany , in order to confirm that flight and expulsion is not only a problem in this day and age .
