The goal was as simple as the English in this write-up. I thought I would give my best in studies, have fun whenever possible, and end up getting a job. Little did I know, life never goes as you think! Induction Week: July 19th, 2015 was my first day in hostel. I met a bunch of new people. Around 40 boys from all over the country. We did an introductory session that night. The induction week was quite boring. The only thing good about it was Wonder La trip. Term 1 & 2: I was very active in almost everything. Answering all the questions, being the CR in all the subjects, talking to all the students, and by talking I mean being over-friendly, etc. were the things I was seen doing. Even in the hostel, would go to every room and talk to people. I also started learning languages. At one point of time I was learning Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Marathi and Konkani. I also started improving my command on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. In short, I was doing everything. I became a recognized face very quickly. Everyone was appreciating whatever I was doing. I hosted Independence Day event. Everything was going amazing. Perfect, isn’t it? But this had a darker side. In doing all the stuff, I made a lot of mistakes. I was being talked about. And no good talk at all. I was being considered highly immature, irritating character, outspoken, etc. I successfully became the KID of the batch. Everyone would talk to me, but I didn’t even have a single friend. People would not show their dislike but they would have loved it if I went missing. I became a lonely boy in both hostel and college. No friends. At all. 22 What do you think I did? Got 2015 - 17 depressed? Cried? Wanted to leave? No. I diverted all
