The U . S . Small Business Administration ’ s Regional Administrator Donna Davis ( Serving Arizona , California , Hawaii , Nevada , Guam ) and NAMCO Board member Michael Anderson signed a strategic alliance memorandum on November 4 , 2015 at the SBA Nevada District office , in order to strengthen and expand small business development in the local area .

The National Association of Minority Companies Inc . is a is a 501 ( c ) 3 tax exempt organization which recognizes that it is its civic duty to benefit our overall society by proactively taking steps to help ensure that small diverse businesses thrive and continue to benefit communities economically and socially through the collaborative efforts of economic , social , cultural , and educational stakeholders ; and to develop and implement programs that build next generation entrepreneur leaders .
The mission of the SBA is to aid , counsel , assist and protect the interests of small business by providing financial , contractual and business development assistance and advocating on their behalf within the government . SBA district offices deliver SBA programs and services to the public . Each Party has separate services and resources which , when delivered in coordination with each other , will provide maximum benefits to the small business communities served .
The purpose of this Strategic Alliance Memorandum ( SAM ) is to develop and foster mutual understanding and a working relationship between the SBA and National Association of Minority Companies Inc . in order to strengthen and expand small business development in the local area .
The memorandum , which will be in effect for two years , will involve the sharing of resource materials , workshops , conferences and seminars concerning SBA programs and assistance for small businesses .
