On Sunday, July 12, 2015, the National Association of Regulatory Utilities
Commissioners (NARUC) held its summer meeting in New York. NARUC is the
umbrella organization for the state public utility commissions around the United
States – its mission is service the public interest by improving the quality and
effectiveness of public utility regulations so that utility services can be provided
at rates and under conditions that are fair, reasonable, and nondiscriminatory.
