Be the change .” That was the key motto women from across Stephens County heard as they gathered in November at the technology center where they heard motivational and encouraging messages from array of distinguished leaders .

For the first time in several years , the annual one-day women ’ s forum , hosted by Duncan Chamber of Commerce , brought leadership , training and a question and answer segment to area women .
Attendees heard from several speakers who aimed to spark an element of inspiration and motivation for more women to step up and “ be the change ” in the world .
The speaker lineup for “ Creators of Change ” showcased four keynote speakers , including : Chief Marketing and Experience Officer with ALSAC , Emily Callahan , who works the fundraising and awareness organization for St . Jude Children ’ s Hospital ; Superintendent Duncan Public Schools Dr . Channa Byerly ; Senior Account Manager with Eli Lily and Company Kimber Budowsky ; and Oklahoma State Senate Sen . Jessica Gavin , R-Dist . 43 .
