Miles & Miles gives new life to vintage clothing

Aesthetic lighting, retro aesthetics and vintage clothing vibes bring and a little nostalgia to the downtown district in Duncan. Miles and Miles vintage clothing features an array of clothing items from older 90s brands, along with some 80s and 2000s clothing brands for customers to peruse.

Owned and operated by Duncan High School senior Peyton Griffith, Miles and Miles vintage clothing consists of brands like Nike, Fruit of the Loom, Carhartt, Dickies, Gildan and more.
Griffith, born and raised in Duncan, said he appreciates how nice the community is, as well as how supportive everyone is of the new business.
Griffith said everyone he encountered was welcoming and positive and after opening the store early 2026, he said the community is great.
“ It’ s been very busy, especially during the ribbon cutting,” he said.
Miles and Miles vintage clothing partnered with the Duncan Chamber of Commerce for a celebratory ribbon cutting Aug. 4. Griffith said he wanted to open Miles and Miles because he loves all aspects and types of vintage clothing.
After considering starting up this new endeavor, Griffith said he noticed there wasn’ t a presence for men’ s vintage clothing stores in the area. He said he wanted to bring something for men and some women too.
He said he started getting into the vintage apparel around 2023-24.
In preparing to open his store, Griffith said everything happened quickly.
After looking all over Duncan, he said his family found the storage units. He said the inspiration of the store came from a place he found in Oklahoma City.
“ I have some friends who own some vintage stores and they gave me the inspiration,” he said.
Griffith said some of his favorite shops are Southern Fried Vintage and Berks Vintage in OKC.
In collecting items, Griffith said he likes the vintage band tees.
“ The Michael Jackson ones have been my favorite recently,” he said.“ The Hip-Hop— 2000s tees have been my favorite.”
After opening the storefront, Griffith said he’ s excited to see the people come and visit the shop, buy clothes and support the store.
He said his goal with the store is to keep expanding his opportunities with the business.
“ Just come check it out,” Griffith said.“ You don’ t know what you’ re going to get in here, because it’ s just a ton of random things.”
Because the store stocks items for men and women, Griffith said there’ s a variety of sizes to choose from at Miles and Miles.
There is also a dedicated section with a lot of old United States Army wear in the store.
Griffith said he appreciates the older U. S. Army items, like the jackets. He said he wanted to help supply students who need items for camo day dress up at schools as well.
When shopping at Miles and Miles vintage clothing, Griffith said it’ s a great space to hang out as well, especially when it’ s hot outside.
There’ s a television and a couch in the back, as well as drinks available.
