school students of Bray-Doyle , as only elementary and high school divisions had existed before .
Back at the beginning of the 2016- 2017 school year , Bray-Doyle Public Schools opened up a new building which housed high school students , a new science lab and a new computer lab .
EMPIRE PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Currently enrolling over 500 students , the Empire Bulldogs share one campus , with students from Pre-K through 8th grade in the elementary school building and grades 9th-12th in the high school building . The district was formed in 1922 with the merging of four other schools , and has been in operation since .
Most recently , the District constructed a new Ag building , following bond approval , which has now been named after Mr . Bill Cheatwood .
CENTRAL HIGH PUBLIC SCHOOLS Yet another one-campus school system , Central High Public Schools has almost 400 students from grades K-12th enrolled . Central High , a while back , utilized an OETT grant to add more technology to classrooms , such as iPads . Along with the technology , the district has added a new stateof-the-art gymnasium and has since hosted several basketball playoff rounds and the Stephens County Basketball Tournament .
VELMA-ALMA PUBLIC SCHOOLS
The Velma-Alma Public School District continues the one-campus trend of smaller Stephens County school districts . The V-A Comets are dedicated to educating all of their
Pre-K through 12th grade students . The elementary school now features a smart table in the computer lab . Velma-Alma completed work in 2017 on the new science building , which was financed by a recent approval of a bond issue .
Most recently the district constructed a safe room , which has since been dedicated to previous superintendent Jerry “ Jug ” Garrett , Sr .
GRANDVIEW PUBLIC SCHOOLS A small , rural district , Grandview Public Schools educates students from three years old to eighth grade . Students who complete eighth grade may choose to attend any high school , usually at a neighboring district .
GARLAND SMITH PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Marlow library , located at the National Guard Armory at 702 W . Main Street , provides meeting space for community groups and events . The library houses public computers and utilizes high-speed Internet . The city of Marlow supports the library . DUNCAN PUBLIC LIBRARY
The Duncan Public Library offers a variety of fun and educational programs , is supported by the city of Duncan and has computers available for public use and high-speed Internet . The library holds events such as Local Author day , Family History Month , National Library Week and more . The library also offers a variety of programs for children , including the Summer Reading Program , story time and holiday events .

RED RIVER TECHNOLOGY CENTER
Red River Technology Center prepares its students for the demands of a specific trade or career , be it engineering , cosmetology , the medical field or many others . RRTC has many area high schoolers in attendance , many of them in the Pre-Engineering and Bio-Med programs . High schoolers enrolled in courses at RRTC also take classes at their high school , allowing them to complete their standard public education as well as higher-level , more specialized courses . In addition to high school students , RRTC accepts students who have already graduated from high school and wish to learn more about their chosen career field .
The campus consists of the main building , the Delbert Morrison Health Careers Center and the Jerry Morris Business Building .

CAMERON UNIVERSITY-DUNCAN
A branch of Lawton-based Cameron University , CU-Duncan offers enrollment to high school students looking to earn early college credits as well as to college-age and adult students . More than 100 courses are offered each semester at CU-Duncan . Students can pick up their books on campus and tutoring opportunities , a computer lab , a commons area and other helpful features are also available .
