The Stephens County Humane Society ( SCHS ) serves as a local advocate for our furry friends ’ health and welfare .
The Stephens County Humane Society , located at 714 W . Martin Luther King Jr . Ave ., plays a pivotal role in finding loving owners for animals needing a good , stable home .
SCHS is currently open for adoptions from noon to 4 p . m . Monday through Thursday , and Friday and Saturday hours are currently extended until 6 p . m . SCHS is closed on Sundays .
