A Salute to the
2018 Community
Champions!
e c lebrating
At the Community Champion Awards
ceremony on April 21, the Dublin
Chamber Civic Foundation recognized
nearly 200 outstanding Dublin
City Schools students and staff for
exemplifying the best of volunteerism,
character, leadership and a caring and
responsibility for others.
Each Community Champion Award honoree received
a limited-edition medal, as well as a gift bag filled
with items and gift certificates from area businesses.
In addition, one student in each grade 4-11 received
$100 in a 529 plan account, and 12 seniors received
cash scholarships. A Dublin City Schools staff member
also had a $500 donation made in his/her name to a
school project of choice.
We thank all of our Community Champion Award
honorees. Without their commitment to the
betterment of our community, Dublin would not
be the great place to live, work and do business
that it is today.
