2019 Community Champion Awards
Recognizing Those Who Give Back
At a Community Champion Awards ceremony on
April 20, the Dublin Chamber of Commerce and
Dublin City Schools recognized more than 220
outstanding students and staff for exemplifying the
best of volunteerism, character, leadership and a
sense of caring and responsibility for others.
Each Community Champion Award honoree received
a limited-edition medal, as well as a gift bag filled with
goodies and gift certificates from area businesses. In
addition, one student in each grade K-11 received $100
in a 529 plan account, and 12 seniors received $1,000 or
$500 scholarships. A Dublin City Schools staff member,
Stephen Dickman, was awarded $500 to use for a school
project of his choice.
We thank all of our Community Champion Award
honorees. Without your commitment to the betterment
of our community, Dublin would not be the great place
