Dublin Corporate Challenge:
A Battle of the Businesses 2019
Employees from area businesses came together on June 20 and June 21 to compete in
challenges to promote health, wellness, and teamwork as part of the Dublin Corporate
Challenge: A Battle of the Businesses.
The event kicked off on June 20 with an evening of food, beverages, fun games and door
prizes at Crowne Plaza Dublin and continued with competitions on June 21 at Dublin Jerome
High School. Activities included kickball, volleyball and corn hole tournaments, relay races,
bingo, darts, an obstacle course, soccer skills, home run derby and more.
Having Fun & Giving Back
In the past three years, nearly $30,000 was generated by the Dublin Corporate Challenge:
A Battle of the Businesses for the Dublin City Schools Business Academy and high school
sporting teams that assisted with the event. In addition, $10,500 has been raised for many
local non-profit organizations, including the Dublin Food Pantry, Dave Thomas Foundation for
Adoption; Big Brothers, Big Sisters; The Ronald McDonald House; Rea Foundation; and more!
