With the World Vape Show Dubai upon us , Innevape co-founder Jeff Connell is calling for brands and advocates to stand together .
He stressed that , in a time of endless misinformation and anti-vaping lobbying , we need to unite against the ‘ powers that be ’.
Jeff said :
I don ’ t like the word ‘ enemy ’, but if there ’ s anything trying to stop us , it ’ s not us .
You ’ ve got Big Tobacco , government and even Big Pharma who – to some extent – would love for us to go away .
He added :
This show is going to be a chance for everybody to get their feet wet and prove that we ’ re passionate and won ’ t go down without a fight .
Jeff predicted that the industry is slowly reaching a point of ‘ global coalition ’, with policy changes in one country affecting the sector as a whole .
And with burgeoning markets like the Middle East opening up to vaping as a harm reduction tool , he stressed that international brands need to start learning from one another .
